Prayer Ministry Team

May 17, 2022

Prayer Ministry is available after the morning service. Two members of the team will be based on the left-hand corner at the front of the church. Please feel free to use this safe, confidential space.
We are looking for new members to join the team and would ask you to seek God’s guidance on that. We hope to provide some training in the near future.
We look forward to new opportunities ahead for the team as we seek God’s guidance as to where he would have us serve in the future.

Stamp Appeal

May 17, 2022

In Lebanon, in response to the financial collapse in the country, pastors in Syria and Lebanon initiated, in 2021, a scheme where they gave half of their salary to establish a relief programme to support the neediest families around their congregations.

Church of Scotland partners, The National Evangelical Synod of Syria and Lebanon (NESSL) is struggling to pay salaries for pastors which range between £100 to £150 per month. Some pastors have left their vocation to take other jobs. Salaries have been supported by fee paying schools, but many families are now finding it hard to pay school fees. Despite the hardships experienced, pastors are reaching out to the needy in their congregations in a sacrificial way. This year the Stamp Project proceeds aim to raise enough funds to support a pastor for a full year’s salary.

Please keep your stamps and place them in the box in the Church foyer.

Woodmill Park Trustees

May 10, 2022

Colin the Caterpillar needs your help!

Colin the Caterpillar in Woodmill Park needs a new coat of paint. Can you help to paint him?

The committee are having a ‘work afternoon’ on Sunday 22 May 2022 from 2-4pm. We plan to tidy up and maintain the fairy trails and park area for the benefit of the local community.

Any volunteers on the day would be very welcome to help us with painting Colin, the other planters and benches and planting wildflowers. Some litter pick-up may also be required. Please get in touch if you wish more information. Thanks. Mhorag Murphy, 01360 620970
