Online giving

A new facility has been set up by the Church of Scotland to allow people to donate online to local churches. This may be of interest to people wishing to make their regular offering who have been unable while the building has been closed, or indeed any wishing to make a one-off donation to support the work of the church. The link to donate online to Torrance Church is at http://www.torranceparishchurch.org.uk/about-us/donate/

Foodbank Appeal

December 1, 2020

If you would like to donate to the Springburn Foodbank, snacks like crisps and biscuits would be a treat to put in with food supplies, plus tins, toiletries and baby supplies are always welcome. Kelly Colquhoun has made a Christmas Appeal on the Community Cares Facebook page asking for festive food/treats, Christmas Dinner and a gift for a child. Donations can be left at the box outside the church hall or at Solid Rock Cycles at Balmore. Thank you.

Girls’ Brigade

December 1, 2020

The Girls Brigade would like to thank everyone who collected crisp packets for them over the past few weeks. These packets have been turned into 30 blankets. Due to such an amazing initial response and further COVID restrictions we will not be collecting any more crisp bags. Many thanks, GB.
