True Origin – Fairtrade Fortnight is here!
September 6, 2024
Fairtrade Fortnight is 09-22 September this year to coincide with the 30th anniversary of the Fairtrade mark. The theme for Fairtrade Fortnight 2024 is “Be the Change”. The theme encourages consumers to make ethical choices by purchasing Fairtrade-certified products, which supports producers in developing countries and helps to highlight how consumers can ‘be the change’ by choosing Fairtrade every time. ** Crossover goes Tubing – Sat 7 Sept (P7 to S3) – NB early start & drop off in Bearsden
September 6, 2024
Crossover is back this weekend, and it’s a “Big Event” Crossover – specifically a trip to the Bearsden Ski Centre for a tubing session. Tubing, if you don’t know, is sliding down the dry ski slope riding a large inflated inner tube. It is great fun for all ages!
Please meet at the Bearsden Ski Centre for 1.45pm. The address is The Mound, Stockiemuir Road, Glasgow G61 3RS. (www.skibearsden.co.uk) – Pick up, from the same place, will be at 4pm.
If your child wants to take part, please let us know in advance, and make sure that you have completed this session’s registration form (https://eu.jotform.com/202147077463353). You only need to complete the form once for the whole 2022/23 session.
