Presbytery of Glasgow – Lodging House Mission – Volunteers needed
May 10, 2024
Lodging House Mission are always in need of volunteers. They would welcome anyone who is keen to help in a variety of tasks such as front of house helping serve tea/coffee, clear tables etc. Also helping out in the kitchen if needed. Nobody would be asked to do anything too strenuous.
At times, this work is demanding – but there is a high level of respect shown to staff and volunteers from the service users. The LHM staff recognise volunteers as very much part of the team, and will always be on hand to support volunteers throughout the day.
LHM are very flexible time wise and appreciate any time that a person can give, even it is only a couple of hours once a week/month etc. LHM is open Mon – Fri 8.30 am – 3.00pm (2.00pm on a Friday), and offer breakfast 8.30 -10.00, and lunch 12.00 – 2.00, all of which is free of charge. Anyone interested in volunteering can contact Chris at LHM: by email: Chris.Mclorinan@lhm-glasgow.org.uk or phone: 0141 552 0285 or 07907532367
