Community Cafe

The Café will be open as usual on Wednesday and Thursday 9am-12pm; Friday 9am-12pm and 2pm-4.30pm. The Prayer Clinic and Library are also available from 10.30am to 12pm every Wednesday. We have a selection of scones and shortbread plus cakes, brownies and other home bakes. All welcome!

The next edition of the Church Newsletter to cover the period from September through to November will be published at the end of August. This is your Newsletter, so if you have any news which you would like to share with our church family, please submit it. The Newsletter is also an ideal way for the Session Teams to inform and update the congregation. Articles should be given to Graeme Phimister or emailed to Graeme at office@tpc.org.uk no later than Sunday 11th August. Unfortunately, due to a tight publication schedule no extension to this date will be possible.

The Presbytery of Glasgow, ‘Recharge’ Conference for children, youth & family worker/volunteers – #Belonging #Inclusion. Date: 31st August 2019                                                   Venue: Lenzie Union Parish Church

Are your batteries running out of charge? Do you need a reboot? This conference will recharge your batteries in your ministry with children, young people & families.

The ‘Recharge’ conference will encourage, inspire and equip you with practical ideas, worship time, networking opportunities, resources and workshops to support you in your ministry.

  • How can we enable children & young people to feel as if they belong?
  • How can we enable others to feel as if they belong to ‘church’?
  • How can we reach out to the community around us?
  • How can we step out our comfort zones and be the light in our community?

Rocky’s Plaice Holiday Club

The Summer Mission this year is ‘Rocky’s Plaice’ which will run from 5th to 9th August, 10 am to 12 pm. To save time on the Monday when the holiday club starts you can pick up a registration form from the bookcase in the foyer and return the completed form to the office. There is a form for P1-P7 and one for Pre-school Nursery – (children going into primary one in August) (One form per child please)

HTC’s 25th Graduation and Awards Ceremony takes place on Tuesday 2nd July 2019 at 2pm in Castle Street Church, Dingwall. The guest speaker will be the Reverend Dr Alistair Donald, Chaplain to Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh. All welcome. If you’re not able to attend please pray that as they graduate, each one will know God’s leading and guiding.

Community Cafe – Holidays

The Café will only be open on Wednesday mornings during the school holidays. It will also be closed on Wednesday 7th August for the Children’s Holiday Club. Normal service i.e. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday will return on Wednesday 14th August. Thank you all for your support throughout the year and we look forward to seeing you all once ‘normal’ service is resumed again.
