Made for Encounter
September 15, 2023
Easterhouse Baptist Church is running a monthly course, one Saturday each month from October-June. It is a training space where we will learn as disciples of Jesus and be equipped to share His Kingdom wherever we are. For more information https://easterhousebaptistchurch.org.uk/made-for-encounter/
Community Café
July 4, 2023
The Café is now closed for the holidays and will reopen on Wednesday 16 August at 9am. If there is anyone who would like to join the team as servers or bakers please speak to Irene MacKenzie, they would be most welcome.
Visiting Friends/Phone Calls
June 27, 2023
We have a small group of people who enjoy visiting the elderly and housebound for a chat, or if preferred, keeping in touch by phone. This is a very rewarding support for folk who do not find it easy to get out and about. If you are aware of a neighbour or friend who would value a visit or phone call please speak to Dorothy or Marion and indeed if you would like to be involved in this outreach we would love to hear from you.
Prayer Ministry
June 27, 2023
Prayer Ministry is available after the morning service. Two members of the team will be seated in front of the communion table under the cross. Please feel free to use this safe, confidential space. We are aware that for some it is not easy to come forward in the church. If this is the case, please feel free to contact one of the members of the prayer team and we can pray for you.
Sunday Morning Prayer Meeting
February 21, 2023
An informal prayer meeting is held in the meeting room before the Sunday service between 10am and 10.20 am. All welcome.
Fish and Chip Deliveries
February 14, 2023
And so our third season of fish and chip deliveries has come to an end. A massive ‘Thank You’ to everyone who has contributed: to those who donated, those who delivered with hot water bottles and cosy towels and those who suggested friends and neighbours.
What a blessing we have received through this initiative; God has led us to friends old and new, enabled us to share His love in a very practical way and guided us in a new ‘chippy in the church’ initiative. Through December and January, with the help of the lovely team at Ghiloni’s, we have provided 215 meals to 147 people from 85 households. We also have some money left over which we will pass on to the holiday club to continue our outreach to the village. Praise God for this opportunity and for His abundant provision! Marion and Alison

An Evening with Merrie Goddard and Esther Jacky
August 21, 2022
Sunday 21 August 7.30pm
Merrie, a missionary and long-term friend of TPC, and her friend Esther are visiting Torrance on 21 August during their trip to Scotland from France. On Sunday evening there is time set aside in the church for Merrie and Esther to share what God has laid on their heart for the church at this moment – a prophetic message for this time. All are warmly invited to attend, and to invite friends from other churches etc. Expect to be encouraged and challenged!
