Alzheimer Scotland is offering grants of £200 to help support unpaid carers of people with dementia living in Scotland. They have had the privilege of delivering a fund like this in the past and they know how great the benefits can be for those caring for someone with dementia. You are warmly invited to our Christmas Singalong on THURSDAY 15 DECEMBER from 1.30pm until 3.00pm. Come and join us in singing favourite Christmas songs and carols together and enjoy a dance or two if you feel inclined. It will certainly lift your spirits. The festivities will commence at 1.30pm with a light finger buffet. All in the community are welcome and we are dementia-friendly too. The Singalongs will continue next year on the 3rd Thursday of each month on 19 January, 16th February, 16th March, 20th April, 18th May, 15th June 2023 when we will break for the summer.
De Café with Ceartas

Ceartas has 4 Dementia Cafés across East Dunbartonshire. These relaxed and informal cafés are for anyone living with, or concerned about, dementia or memory loss. It is an informal setting where people and their carers, partners or families can meet and speak to each other.
Interact with others and make new friends at the Bishopbriggs De Café on the first Tuesday of the month, 2-3.30pm at Woodhill Evangelical Church, G64 2NH; Lenzie De Café, second Monday of the month, 1.30-3pm at Lenzie Union Parish Church, Kirkintilloch Road, G66 4LD; Bearsden De Café, on the fourth Tuesday of the month, 2-4pm at Killermont Parish Church, Rannoch Drive, G61 2LD; Kirkintilloch De Café, on the last Friday of the month, 1.30-3pm at The Park Centre, 45 Kerr Street, G66 1LF.

HO! HO! HO! Yes, it’s time to get the tinsel out and enjoy fun and fellowship together at our Christmas singalong as we look towards the celebration of Christmas. Our team are looking forward to welcoming you, whether for the first time or if you are a regular with us. We will start at 1.30 pm with some tasty festive fare and refreshments, then enjoy singing favourite Christmas songs and carols together from 2 pm until 3 pm. Come and join us. We are dementia friendly too.
