September 10, 2021

TPC are in the process of setting up a drop-in youth café to give the young people of the village somewhere safe, warm, and fun to come along to.  It is due to launch on Saturday 18th September and is aimed at those in P7 to S3/4.

We are looking for some supplies and wondered if anyone in the congregation would be able to assist with any of these that you’re not using and haven’t got around to throwing out yet:

Old video game consoles, games, and peripheries

A smoothie maker / blender

Arts and crafts materials or supplies

Wooden tabletop games (e.g., Jenga, chess, draughts, go etc)

Message Iain Nisbet at if you’ve got anything you think might fit the bill.  Thanks!

Volunteers for BB and Crossover

August 27, 2021

Our Boys’ Brigade and Crossover groups would each be grateful of new volunteers as they plan to restart their valuable work in the new term.  This could mean anything from helping with a specific skill, joining a rota to help every few weeks, to supporting the leaders on a weekly / bi-weekly basis.  Please would you commit this to prayer, and consider whether God may be calling you, or someone you know, to volunteer?  Involvement is as rewarding for the leaders and helpers as it is for the young people who attend.  If you would like to help with a specific group, please speak to any of the existing leaders or drop us an email.  If you are open to helping with any group or are unsure where you could be of most help, please email the office and we will be happy to explore the options with you.

Crossover – New session begins 4 September at 7pm!

August 27, 2021

Crossover meets on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month 7-9pm at the church or outdoors. You will enjoy a great variety of activities, often going out to a particular event. P7 – S4 age group. Parental consent will be required.

Crossover Calling!

August 17, 2021

Crossover is our church youth group for young people from P7 to S3/4. During lockdown and the following restrictions, Crossover met fortnightly throughout, both online and outdoors.

Our vision for this year is to continue to meet fortnightly during term-time, including launching a monthly drop-in youth cafe.  Crossover reaches a number of young people in the village and beyond who do not have other church connections, with the good news of Jesus.

To run on this basis, we need you to join us in this exciting and rewarding ministry.  There are a number of roles you might fill including catering, setting up, driving, front of house, admin, running activities, IT etc etc etc  All ages welcome, and no experience necessary.  We will be operating on a rota basis, and would be looking for a minimum commitment of only 5 sessions a year.

If you are interested, or have any questions, please contact me.  Iain Nisbet or leave a message on 01360 620970 and I will get back to you.
