Sunday 12 September 2021, 10.30am.

Our preacher this Sunday is Rev. C. Peter White, and the passage is Growing Disciples – Belonging to the Family: Church.

Here are the options for joining with us:-

Attend in person:-

To book your seats for this Sunday, or following ones, click this link  or go to the TPC homepage and follow the instructions.  Easier still, download the Church Center app from the play store/app store on your mobile device, for quick access to booking.

If you are not able to book online or through the app, please contact Marion Murray at and she can arrange for a booking to be made on your behalf.

Please be assured that all ages are welcome at the service – just as those of the appropriate age are equally welcome to attend one of the following groups that meet at the same time:-

Junior Church, FROG & Connect

Junior church is open to children from age 3 – P3 (juniors) and P4 – P6 (seniors).  Children attending should be dropped off at the Church Hall door (via the car park), before the service, and collected from the same place at the end of the service.

FROG (P7 – S3) and Connect (S4 – S6) meet at the same time, at the Caldwell Hall.

If you know of a family member or friend who might be interested in attending one of the Sunday youth groups and would like more information, please contact the office and we can put you in touch with the relevant leader.

September 10, 2021

TPC are in the process of setting up a drop-in youth café to give the young people of the village somewhere safe, warm, and fun to come along to.  It is due to launch on Saturday 18th September and is aimed at those in P7 to S3/4.

We are looking for some supplies and wondered if anyone in the congregation would be able to assist with any of these that you’re not using and haven’t got around to throwing out yet:

Old video game consoles, games, and peripheries

A smoothie maker / blender

Arts and crafts materials or supplies

Wooden tabletop games (e.g., Jenga, chess, draughts, go etc)

Message Iain Nisbet at if you’ve got anything you think might fit the bill.  Thanks!

Springburn Foodbank Collection

August 3, 2021

Thank you to everyone in the church who has contributed to the emergency foodbank collection since last March. Helen and her team are extremely thankful. We will no longer collect for Springburn as Helen and her team are now looking at longer term solutions to support people in the local Community.

They will continue to meet the needs of emergency cases. We could pray for God’s provision and a clear vision of how they might move forward. Something similar to a community pantry is one idea but they are looking at premises and a model that will fit well with specific local needs. Our support has helped during a time when they were continually overwhelmed with requests for assistance. They did an amazing job and literally helped thousands. Chrissy Muir

Beastie Bothy Part 2

July 6, 2021

The eco committee is still trying to push on with the steps towards a silver eco congregation award, a bit more challenging when our use of buildings and opportunities to get together is limited!

One of our targets was to extend our work in the village and most recently this has involved working with the committee for Woodmill Park to build a Beastie Bothy in the Fairy Trail .

We think it looks very grand and hopefully most attractive to lots of God’s smaller creatures!

If you have any other ideas about how we can continue our community work or if you would like to get involved with the group – it might mean getting your hands dirty – please contact Alison Crawford at:
