As promised, we are organising a second Prayer 24 event from 7am on Friday 20th to 7am on Saturday 21st June.
We have decided to follow on from Pentecost on June 8th, and to focus our prayers on the person of the Holy Spirit and the gifts the Spirit gives us. It will also be a chance to look back on the session which is coming to a close and to think ahead to the new session starting after the summer holidays. It will take the same form as our first Prayer 24 event held last November, where we asked folks to sign up to an hour-long slot, thus making a concentrated effort to spend 24 hours praying nonstop with God in a designated space as a church family.
If you didn’t get a chance to participate in November, consider joining us this time round.
Going forward, it will be our intention to hold two Prayer 24 events each year and other shorter events, such as the recent Good Friday prayer time, as appropriate.
