Dementia Friendly Concerts at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall

These concerts provide a fun and interactive Music afternoon with fabulous entertainment in a Dementia Friendly environment. All Concerts all held in the Strathclyde Suite with lift access and wheelchair accessibility. There are very friendly staff from Glasgow Life to welcome and assist you to the Concert Hall.

Doors Open Day at Caldwell Halls, Torrance

Torrance and Baldernock Heritage and History Group in conjunction with Girlguiding Torrance are hosting an event sharing their legacy and local history on Sunday 8th September between 12 – 4.30pm. If you have any old photographs or memorabilia relating to Torrance or Girlguiding that you would like to share please bring them to the church on Sunday 1st of September and we will pass them to the Caldwell Halls or you can hand them directly into the Caldwell Halls.

Alpha Course

We plan to run an Alpha Course which will start on Monday 7th of October until Monday 9th of December, however, before then, for those who are seeking, we will have a ‘Launch Night’ on Monday 23rd of September that will give an insight into what Alpha is all about. Glasgow COSEN invite you to an evening of prayer, worship and fellowship – an opportunity to reflect on the goodness of God in a time of turmoil in the world and in the Kirk – on Friday 30th August 2024 at St Georges Tron, 131 Buchanan St, G1 2JX.
There will be an optional light supper available from 6.30pm, coffee from 7.00pm with the evening itself running from 7.30-9.00pm.
