Church Cookbook

July 19, 2024

Hello Church Congregation!

Sean is feeling really inspired to recreate and update our Church cookbook and bring out a ‘new edition’ come August time.

We are hoping this is a chance to bless our community, celebrate the various groups running in the church and also bless our members who are leaving for university, and moving to start new jobs. This also could be a great place to share money saving meal tips, and bless one another with scrumptious recipes of meals we may have got to taste at Alphas, or home baking we’ve sampled at a ceilidh or two.

We would also love for each recipe, if you are willing, to have a couple of lines of why this recipe is important to yourself or a special memory you have of this recipe.

If you could get in touch with Sean at office@tpc.org.uk with a recipe(s) of meals, and home baking with a couple of lines about that recipe, that would be smashing.

Thanks all, we are looking forward to the end product.

Trypraying Booklets – pick up a copy and pass it on!

July 19, 2024

Trypraying is a pocket-sized booklet and contains stories of “something happened” and “answered prayer”, ideas of things to do, important themes about how to connect with God and honest prayer. There are Trypraying booklets on the table in the foyer, plus a Seven Day Guide for teens to get them started, and a puzzle and prayers booklet for the youngsters. Please pick up a copy and feel free to pass them on to friends and family – it may just change their life!

Visiting Friends/Phone Calls

July 16, 2024

We have a small group of people who enjoy visiting the elderly and housebound for a chat, or if preferred, keeping in touch by phone. This is a very rewarding support for folk who do not find it easy to get out and about. If you are aware of a neighbour or friend who would value a visit or phone call please speak to Marion and indeed if you would like to be involved in this outreach we would love to hear from you.
