Valentines Event with pianist – 14th February, Glasgow Central – 10am –2pm
As Valentine’s Day approaches, we’re inviting you to join us for a celebration of our love for music and memories while we raise funds so to allow us to continue harnessing the power of personal playlists for dementia. We’re holding an information stall under the iconic clock in Glasgow’s Central from 10am-2pm and our pianist, Gus Harrower, will be taking requests for songs, so if there’s someone in your life – a partner, parent, friend or carer – that you share a special song with we’d love for you stop by and hear it live. Scottish media is invited to the event and so we’re looking for contributors with lived experience of dementia or caring who would be comfortable sharing their story of working with Playlist for Life and the positive impact of meaningful music. Full support from our team will be given to anyone wishing to speak to press. Please note press activity will take place between 10am-11am.
