Posada
December 3, 2022
Posada is the Spanish word for Inn. There is a Mexican tradition of Mary and Joseph ‘staying’ at people’s homes in the run up to Christmas.
In our own context, a fun way to do this is to have a small nativity set of wooden figures make its way from home to home in the course of December. By taking a ‘posada’ from home to home we can make room to welcome the heart of the Christmas message.
Would you like to join in?
The idea is to have the Posada for one night and set it on your windowsill.
We will give you contact details for the next home so that you can arrange a handover.
Contact office@tpc.org.uk if you would like to sign up for a night in December!
We hope you will join us as we celebrate Christmas, you will be made most welcome.
