Monday Men

Monday Men meet at the church at 7.30 – 9pm for a chat, a bible reading and discussion. We have a look at a Bible passage or a Christian topic and then have a discussion on it. We finish with an opportunity for prayer. We always have a good blether and time of fellowship and a very warm welcome is extended to all.

Crossover’s Big Event!

This Saturday (1 October 2022) Crossover will be taking a trip to the Bearsden Ski Centre for a tubing session. The numbers are now such that we need to split into two sessions – which will allow each young person more “slope time” – so please note below which group your child is in, and what the arrangements are for that group.
P7 & S1 Pupils – Please meet at the Bearsden Ski Centre at 7pm. The address is The Mound, Stockiemuir Road, Glasgow G61 3RS. (www.skibearsden.co.uk) – Pick-up will be at 9pm, from 2 Russell Drive, Bearsden G61 3BD.
S2, S3 & S4 Pupils – Please meet at 7pm at 2 Russell Drive, Bearsden G61 3BD – Pick-up will be from the Bearsden Ski Centre at 9pm. The address is as above. Please let Iain Nisbet know in advance if your child would like to participate.
Harvest Celebration

This year there are three ways you can contribute to our harvest service:
1. Help decorate the church by bringing along flowers or greenery from your own garden
2. Bring tins, packets etc for the local foodbank
3. Give a donation to the foodbank.
If you are able to bring something from your garden, a group will be in the church from 9.30 am tomorrow Saturday 1 October and they will be delighted to receive it.

Springfield Cambridge Festival Chorus

We are re-launching our successful Junior Chorus at Springfield Cambridge Church as part of the Springfield Cambridge Festival Chorus.
We are starting with a taster session on Sunday 23rd October, from 12.30-1.30pm. Come along and join the fun. Boys and Girls aged 7 – 14 are all welcome to come and see what it’s like to sing! No audition required and no fee. All music will be provided on the day.
Join in a fun session of vocal games and Christmas music, under the direction of Catherine Taylor, our Junior Chorus leader and get an idea what it’s like to be part of this great choir.

Springfield Cambridge Festival Chorus is a large mixed-voice choir with its roots in Bishopbriggs Churches Together. The chorus, which is led by music professionals and open to adults of any age and experience, presents high profile concerts in Glasgow’s major venues to raise funds for worthy causes. Their flagship Christmas concerts, held annually along with a 40-piece orchestra in the Royal Concert Hall, have raised over £400,000 for Children’s Hospices Across Scotland since they began in 2002.
Friendship Lunch
