Morning Service 10.30am
June 3, 2022
Preacher: Rev Stuart Irvin and we are looking at Acts 2:1-13 – ‘The Promise of Pentecost – History and Hope’.
This Sunday is cause to celebrate! We remember and explore the events of Pentecost when the Holy Spirit was poured out on the disciples and many came to know and experience the wonder of God. We’ll be thinking a bit about how we celebrate this as a church, but also how we share it. By way of our shared celebration, I’m inviting folks to wear something red. It is a great vista to look out and remind ourselves of our shared story of faith through the work of the Holy Spirit. I’ve also got an exciting plan to help us think about how we share the message and celebration of Pentecost beyond our church and into our community. Watch this space! If you are free and available to help with the hatching of this plan then I invite you to join us at 9:30am for a short time of prayer followed by a shared activity (also with the theme of red!) Stuart.
