Church Family Picnic

We are going to have a church family picnic at Mugdock Country Park on Sunday 19th June after church. There will be some games for all ages. Bring along your lunch and picnic chairs. Lynne.
Walk and Talk

The next walk is on Saturday 11th June from Auchinstarry Quarry via the canal path to The Boathouse for coffee. We will meet at the church at 9.30am and hope to return to Torrance around midday. New walkers are always welcome. Please note, the walk is weather dependent.
Session Meeting and Stated Annual Meeting

The Kirk Session will meet on Tuesday 7th June at 7.30pm in the church and the Stated Annual Meeting will take place on Sunday 12 June after the morning service.
Crossover Gala Day Ceilidh

The Gala Day Ceilidh, featuring a live band of very talented young people, starts at 7pm at the church until approx. 9.30pm and all Crossover regulars are welcome and are encouraged to invite their friends. Tickets are £2 each, with all proceeds going to support a former Crossover attendee who is volunteering with a Christian project in Peru this summer. Holiday Sunday school

Volunteers needed!
Thankyou to everyone who covered Holiday Sunday school over the past few months, the regular leaders really appreciated it and the kids enjoyed seeing new faces and doing things a bit differently.
If you missed the chance to serve the church family in this way, don’t worry, there are more dates coming up for the summer holidays!
Please speak to Susan or Moira or there will be a sign-up sheet in the café area. Two people are needed each week and in the coming weeks it is possible to pop in during regular Sundays to see how things run (just check with Moira first). Thankyou in advance! Dates are June 26th, July 3rd, 10th,17th, 24th, 31st, Aug 7th.

Memories Scotland

In partnership with Scotland’s Libraries connecting heritage resources with reminiscence activity. The Memories Scotland archive is set to engage new audiences with an expanded collection of historical images, artefacts, film and audio. The launch of the new East Dunbartonshire Memories Scotland Group will be held on Wednesday 25th May at 1.30pm in Kilmardinny House, Kilmardinny Avenue, Bearsden, G61 3NN and will subsequently meet in the Bearsden Hub at Bearsden Library on the last Wednesday of each month at 2pm.
