Prayer Ministry Team

December 28, 2021

The team continues to pray on a Thursday morning during the week. If the weather is fine, two members of the team can be seen walking around the Parish praying. They can be identified by their prayer ministry badges. We would also continue to encourage you to get in touch with any of the team with any prayer requests.

We are very aware of the many different challenges and struggles folk are experiencing at present and the difficulties that continue. No matter what we face let us share one another’s burdens together in the love and strength of Jesus.

Rapunzel Christmas Panto Postponed!

December 17, 2021

To everyone who have bought tickets to attend our first show of Rapunzel this evening at Torrance Parish Church,

We are so sad to have to tell you that the difficult decision has been made to cancel the show as planned. We had been working so hard on this and were very excited to share it with you. This is not a message we wanted to have to share. This decision was made very last minute to keep the community of Torrance safe and we appreciate your understanding through these difficult times.

As you know, this event was to raise funds for the East Dunbartonshire Food Bank and so we really appreciate your support and hope you will be happy to keep your tickets while we make plans to perform for you all at a future date to be confirmed as soon as it is safe to do so.

We’re so sorry for any inconvenience caused and thank you all again for your support.

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and we can’t wait to perform for you all soon.

We are meeting with the cast and crew tonight and hope to create something to share with you all as soon as possible to hopefully make you smile and keep you going until we can share our version of Rapunzel with you.

Thank you, Sean Reilly, on behalf of us all at the TPC Panto
