What a joy to have delivered over 50 fish suppers around our village on the run up to Christmas and an appearance in The Herald topped it all off on Christmas Eve. But it doesn’t stop there. New names are being added all the time and with your generous donations and a fantastic team of delivery people we are able to continue at least until the end of January and hopefully through February too.
Alongside each Fish Supper comes a phone call and chat, a wee written message from the church and a friendly face and ‘how are you doing?’ as the suppers are handed over.
With the new lockdown measures in place, possibly for some time to come, it is even more important that we reach out and connect with each other. Loving human contact is vital for us and no one in our village should feel lonely. God has provided so generously and graciously for each one of us, this small act is one way of sharing His love and the hope we have in Him. If you know of someone who would benefit please let Marion know at office@tpc.org.uk
