The support of the visiting friends and pastoral teams remains very much available (by telephone); anyone in the community who would benefit practical help (e.g., with shopping), a friendly phone call, or is finding things difficult can call or be referred to Dorothy Beaton or Marion Murray on 07788 797238 in the first instance.

If you would like to donate to the Springburn Foodbank, snacks like crisps and biscuits would be a treat to put in with food supplies, plus tins, toiletries and baby supplies are always welcome. Kelly Colquhoun has made a Christmas Appeal on the Community Cares Facebook page asking for festive food/treats, Christmas Dinner and a gift for a child. Donations can be left at the box outside the church hall or at Solid Rock Cycles at Balmore. Thank you.
Alzheimer Scotland – Football Memories Group
December 13, 2020
As we have been unable to hold our Football Memories group for quite some time we are now launching a pilot of a Virtual Online Football Memory Group on Monday 14th December at 2pm. Normally we would have hosted a Football Memory Christmas party, which unfortunately, we cannot hold that this year, so why not come along online on 14th December with your Christmas Jumper and Christmas hat and we can celebrate all the good times we have had previously. For further information and to book a place on the Virtual Online group please contact Anne O’Donnell, Community Activity Organiser on Mobile: 07584 607565 or email: ao’donnell@alzscot.org

Prayer Ministry – Thursday
December 13, 2020
The Prayer Ministry Team will be available on Thursday morning 17 December, for prayer support in the Meeting Room from 10.30 – 12 noon. Because of the current Covid guidelines regarding numbers, unfortunately for now, the café and the meeting room cannot be used on the same morning. If you are coming for prayer support only and the meeting room is closed, please take a seat in the chairs provided. If you are using the cafe but also wish prayer, please write down your prayer request on a piece of paper at home and place it in the box provided at the exit door from the café and we will pray into your request. We are encouraged to pray in all circumstances and although there are many trials at present there is also much to be thankful for. Let us hold and build one another up in our prayers together.
