On Friday 8th March GB are hosting a clothes sales by Taylor Fashions with the proceeds going to GB funds. In the past it has always been a very enjoyable and entertaining evening. Tickets will be available at the end of February.

Friendship Lunch

The next Friendship Lunch will be on Tuesday, 5th February at 1pm. The children from Torrance Primary School will again be entertaining us, this time with their Burns’ recitals and songs. This is always very good, and we hope you will be able to join us.

Our next meeting is on Monday 28th January 2019 in the Caldwell Hall, Campsie Road, Torrance at 7.30pm. Our Guest Speaker is Mr Peter Paterson who will give a talk on The Clyde, The Shenandoah and the Mersey. All welcome.

Ceilidh – P7-S6

Crossover are hosting a ceilidh for our young people (P7-S6) in the church on the evening of Saturday 2nd February 2019. We are looking for donations of home baking to replenish energy levels after the Dashing White Sergeant. If you can help, please speak to any of the Crossover leaders (Iain, Moira, Andy or Tracy).

St Columba’s 50th Anniversary Ceilidh

You are invited to St Columba’s 50th Anniversary celebration ceilidh, Old Aisle Road, Kirkintilloch, G66 3HQ on Saturday 24th November at 7pm. Tickets £10 for adults and children free (includes buffet). Band is Reelback (featuring our own John Hair!) Tickets available from Allison Lunan.

TPC CAFÉ – New Developments November 2018

Thursday Mornings: Experience an informal craft activity session on Thursday mornings. Come along and join the fun. Knitting, crochet, quilting etc. All of this whilst enjoying your Latté, Cappuccino, Americano, Hot Chocolate, Specialist Tea and scones etc. Please come and join us – we are all amateurs, but it is fun.
Friday Afternoons: This is a new venture. From Friday 9th November the café will have an additional afternoon session, opening on Fridays at 200pm until approximately 4 00 – 4 30pm (flexible). It is hoped that mums, dads, grandparents, carers, etc., will take the opportunity to have a break and chat whilst waiting to collect children from school or alternatively with the children after school.

Boys’ Brigade Fundraising Quiz Night

Big Quiz Night – Tearfund

We are having a Quiz Night in the church in aid of Tearfund on Saturday 17 November at 6.45 for 7pm. For one night only – churches and other groups up and down the country will be taking part in the biggest multi-venue, nationwide quiz ever! We’d love you to join in!
