Musical Morning – Open to everyone in the Community; bring all your friends and family for a Big Sing (Dementia Friendly Concert) on 2nd August, 10-12 noon at the Tickled Trout Pub & Restaurant, 878 Boclair Road, Milngavie, G62 6EP. Concert is free; however, the purchase of beverages will occur a charge. Also a Summer Extravaganza – on 11th August, 7-9pm at St Mary’s Parish Church, Cowgate, Kirkintilloch. Entry Free. TPC Cafe Holiday Opening Hours

During the holiday period the Cafe will be open on ‘Wednesdays only’ until Wednesday 1st August. The Holiday Club is the following week; so again, the Cafe will not be open during this time. Normal service will resume, i.e. four days per week on Wednesday 15th August 2018.

Sing Along Group 21st June

Our next Sing Along is on Thursday 21 June at 1.30 until 3pm. This is open to all in the community and is dementia friendly. We hope you will join us for a very relaxed and fun afternoon and would encourage you to invite a friend or neighbour along.

Torrance Community Café

The Café is open on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday mornings, from 9am-12pm and the Prayer Clinic and Library are also available from 10.30am to 12pm every Wednesday. We have a selection of scones and shortbread plus cakes, brownies and other home bakes; and on a Saturday, you can enjoy bacon rolls and croissants! All welcome!

Bouncy Castle and Games!

To start the ball rolling for this year’s Holiday Club we have arranged to have a bouncy castle at the church café on Thursday 28th June between 10am and 12pm. Parents can bring their children, and while they have lots of fun, you can enjoy a cuppa with friends! There will be responsible adults on hand to maintain safety at all times. On this day there will be Registration forms available to sign up early for the Showstoppers Holiday Club in August.

Walk and Talk

Our next walk is on Saturday 12th May and we will visit Mugdock – from Drumclog Car Park through Mugdock for coffee at the Visitor’s Centre before retracing the route. Meet at the church at 9.30am. New walkers are always welcome.
