Come along and enjoy an evening of spiritually uplifting Gospel music performed by the Glasgow Gospel Choir on Friday, 4th February at St. Mary’s Parish Church, Cowgate, Kirkintilloch.
Performance starts at 7.30pm. Tickets £5 and £3 concession. All the proceeds of the concert go directly to AYDAP (African Youth Development Action Plan). More information from Donald Goldie or John Hair.
Church Weekend Away – Date for your Diary

Advance notice -The Church weekend away will be at Lendrick Muir from Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd October 2011 (this is the last weekend of the October school holidays). Lendrick Muir is operated by Scripture Union Scotland in a beautiful location at Rumbling Bridge near Kinross. Price to be confirmed. Prison Fellowship

A meeting will take place at 7.30pm on Monday 31st January 2011 at Bearsden Baptist Church, 14 Roman Road, Bearsden G61 2SL to discuss ways of assisting Prison Fellowship in their work at Low Moss Prison when it re-opens in Spring 2012. This meeting will be for potential volunteers, which could be lay people or clergy from around the local churches. It will be to hear more about the plans for Low Moss, what being a volunteer would involve and provide the opportunity for people to express their interest in pursuing an involvement further.

Come and sing well known carols accompanied by the choir on Monday 13th December at 7:30pm in the church. Tea, Coffee and home baking served.
Christmas Cards

Once again this year, one of the Youth Organisations is making a large Christmas card for display in the foyer. Look out for it from the beginning of December. lf you like, instead of giving your friends in the Church individual cards this Christmas, why not put a message on the card and make a donation in the box provided. This way you will, not only be ECO friendly, but helping a worthwhile cause. All donations will be sent to the Old Folk’s Home in Bishkek.
