Sleep in the park

December 4, 2017

On Saturday 9th December, Alison Crawford, Sheila and Eilidh Traynor have signed up to “Sleep in the Park” which is a mass overnight sleep-out in Edinburgh’s Princes Street Gardens with 9,000 others. They have done this through GB Scotland who has encouraged leaders and girls over 16 to support this. It is hoped that by raising funds and working together, the people of Scotland will create such an impetus that homelessness will be eradicated over a five-year period. If you would like to sponsor us, then please go to: http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/giving/ and search for either Alison Crawford or Sheila Traynor and this will take you to the Torrance GB teams fundraising page.

Youth Weekend Fundraising Lunch – Praise God and Thank You!

September 19, 2017

On behalf of all the young people and leaders involved in the upcoming weekend away, a huge thanks to everyone who provided and stayed for lunch last week. In the providence of God, the amount given – £535.00 – was the exact amount (to the penny) needed for the bus costs that we had hoped to cover! A wee miracle and surely cause for praising the Lord for his presence and goodness to us and through us. Thanks again, Robin (MacLellan)
