Girls’ Brigade 80’s Disco

The junior girls have been learning about the 1980s. We are finishing the session on Wednesday 4th December with our 80s family disco 7pm – 9pm. Please come along and join in the fun (80s dress up would be great but not essential). Pay at the door £2 adult, £1 child. Money raised will be given to ‘Comic Relief’ a charity the girls were learning about; set up in 1985.

Crossover needs YOU!

We are having our annual Christmas banquet for Crossover (our P7 to S3 monthly youth club on the evening of Saturday 7th December 2019. This year we need some additional helping hands a) to cook us a lovely Christmas meal, and b) to help lay the tables, serve the food and generally lend a hand. Carols by Candlelight

On Monday 2 December 7.00-8.30pm we will be joined by special guests – The Inspiration Youth Choir; who will sing some songs for us and join in the usual carol singing. It’s an event for the whole village, so please come, and invite family, neighbours and friends to join us. It’s for all ages! Christmas with Dick Dowsett and Origin Scotland

If you are in 1st to 6th year at High school, or any age upwards, and would like to take part in our Cinderella Christmas Panto, please come along to the casting and information session today (25th August) between 3-5pm. The Children’s Christmas Music Recital

The Recital will be held on Saturday the 23rd December at 5.30pm in the Church. We are once again extending an invitation to all children and young people who would like to perform a musical item. This can be any instrument, including voice, and any standard from beginner to concert pianist! We will be using this opportunity to raise funds for Mercy House in Zambia where Anne Davidson works and towards expenses for SU camps for the children of the School SU group. Come along and be entertained by our children and enjoy a great evening. A cup of tea, coffee, shortbread and baking will be served. Catherine Nicolson.
