A Call to Worship with Father’s Song

A concert in support of the work of Operation Mobilisation – during the concert there will be a video from Zambia which features Anne Davidson of Torrance. Ladies Save The Date!!

On Friday 8th March GB are hosting a clothes sales by Taylor Fashions with the proceeds going to GB funds and the girls have chosen to give the proceeds from the clothes sale to ‘Play List for Life’. In the past it has always been a very enjoyable and entertaining evening. Tickets costing £5 are now available from Sheila Traynor.

The Retiral Collection next Sunday will be in aid of ‘The Well’ Multi Cultural Advice Centre, which is a drop-in information and advice service. It is uniquely placed to build bridges between communities who might otherwise never interact.

Big Quiz Night – Tearfund

We are having a Quiz Night in the church in aid of Tearfund on Saturday 17 November at 6.45 for 7pm. For one night only – churches and other groups up and down the country will be taking part in the biggest multi-venue, nationwide quiz ever! We’d love you to join in! is holding its annual fundraising Ladies Night, supporting children with cancer, on Friday 23rd November in Torrance Bowling Club. Along with the usual games and buffet, entertainment will be provided by singer John Bennett throughout the evening. Our retiral collection next Sunday will benefit The Church House, Bridgeton where the facilities and activities of the club help and enable the staff and volunteers to get alongside and encourage their young members to grow and develop, at their own pace, into young adults. There will be envelopes in the seats, and if you wish to contribute please place your donation inside the envelope and place it in the plate in the foyer. If you have signed up for the Gift Aid Scheme, please put your name on the outside of the envelope. Thank you.

Act For Our Future

Take part in a free interactive workshop led by Diane Green of Christian Aid, in partnership with Stop Climate Chaos Scotland, to give you more information on Scotland’s new Climate Change Act and how you can get involved in the campaign for climate justice.
