Postage Stamps

Just a reminder to keep your stamps as The Church of Scotland has a very active and successful project in operation using money from the sale of stamps to provide much needed resources for people in deprived areas abroad and we are supporting this project. Thanks.

Winter Warmer at the Friday Cafe – Anne Davidson

Everything at the Friday cafe, including soup and bread from 11.30 to 2pm approx. is by donation which will be given to different Christian and local charities each month. During January the donations will be going to Anne Davidson who will use the money to buy beds and mosquito nets for the new safe house at Mercy House in Zambia. Please come along and support this very worthwhile cause. All welcome.

Community Cafe – Wed/Thurs/Fri

The café will re-open on Wednesday 8th January from 9am-12pm for teas/coffee, scones, shortbread plus cakes, brownies and other home bakes. The Prayer Clinic and Library are also available from 10.30am to 12pm every Wednesday. All welcome!

New Year Praise Party – Sunday 5 January, 6.30-7.45pm

What better way to kick off a New Year than with an extended, informal time of worship and praising God together?! We also want to hear from you if you’d like to share how you or someone you know has experienced God’s goodness and faithfulness over the past year. You can either email a few lines of encouragement/testimony to office@tpc.org.uk by Friday lunchtime or come prepared to share on the night. Hope you can join us then. Prayer Ministry

January 3, 2020

Two people from the Prayer Ministry Team are available at the front of the church after the 2nd service to pray for any concerns you may have and the Prayer Clinic is available throughout the year on a Wednesday morning. The Prayer Box is also available in the foyer and we would encourage you to use it at any time during the week. The team will pray for you and your request will then be shredded.

The Bible Course – Explore The BIG Story

New to the Bible or want to go deeper? The Bible Course is for you. It shows how the key books, famous characters and epic events form one BIG story, from Genesis to Revelation. The course also provides tools and skills that help apply the bible to everyday life. Come and discover more about this eight-session interactive course:

Time of Meditation and Prayer

The meeting room is set aside for meditation and prayer every Sunday from 9.30am until 10.10am. A special time of silence is spent waiting on God followed by a time of sharing and praying for one another as well as for our church. All are welcome.
