Scottish World Tour 2019 – ENGAGE World Mission Advisors

Throughout 2019, the Tour will take in many of Scotland’s towns and cities. It’s especially for 18 to 25-year olds, but all are very welcome. The programme runs for around 90 minutes and will be interactive – bring your own questions! Hear how local churches are engaged in local and international mission, pray for people on our planet, consider how you can be involved. The Big Bethlehem Lego Build – P1 up to S3

On Saturday 30th November in the church, 10 am till 11.30 am. Involving: Lego, Nativity story, juice and snacks and small Christmas Craft. P1 up to S3. Consent forms needed on the day but parents welcome to stay and build also!

Carols by Candlelight

On Monday 2 December 7.00-8.30 pm we will be joined by special guests – Inspiration Youth Choir, who will sing some songs for us and join in the usual carol singing. Come and enjoy tea, mince pies, shortbread and conversation round the tables!

 

 

Can You Help?

Bishopbriggs Academy are organising a collection to support the elderly and homeless in the local community. They would be grateful for donations of hats, scarves, gloves and socks (items must be new). There will be a labelled box in the church foyer for donations. Thank you, Tom Lunan.

Christmas with Dick Dowsett and Origin Scotland

Girls’ Brigade 80s Disco

The junior girls have been learning about the 1980s. We are finishing the session on Wednesday 4th December with our 80s family disco 7pm – 9pm. Please come along and join in the fun (80s dress up would be great but not essential). Pay at the door £2 adult, £1 child. Money raised will be given to ‘Comic Relief’ a charity the girls were learning about; set up in 1985.
