Woodmill Park Clean-Up

The park is community-owned and if you have some time to spare please help us clean up the park on Sunday 4th March from 11am until 1.00pm. It’s fun too! Wear gloves/ wellies or stout shoes.

Friendship Lunch

The next Lunch will be on Tuesday, 6th March at 1pm. A speaker from Playlist for Life will be coming along to speak to us. Playlist for Life is a charity founded by writer and broadcaster Sally Magnusson in memory of her mother, Mamie. When Mamie developed dementia, Sally discovered that personally meaningful music helped improve Mamie’s life with the disease more than anything else. We hope you will be able to join us and look forward to seeing you there.

Community Cafe

The Café is open on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday mornings, from 9am-12pm and the Prayer Clinic and Library are also available from 10.30am to 12pm every Wednesday. We have a selection of scones and shortbread plus cakes, brownies and other home bakes; and on a Saturday, you can enjoy bacon rolls and croissants! Come for a visit and bring a friend or two!

Eco-Congregation Scotland – 2018 Photo Competition

Pass the Planet – As part of our ‘Annual Gathering 2018’ we are running a photographic competition. Photographers from any background and experience are invited to enter the ‘Pass The Planet’ photo competition. Photos can be in any of ten categories and taken on a camera or phone. Judging will take place in early April and the winning photographs will be displayed at our annual gathering on 28th April in Edinburgh.
