Pray for ‘Looked After’ children and young people

The church and society council encourages us to pray for issues affecting our society. Please join us this month as we pray for ‘Looked After’ children and young people. “Loving Heavenly Father, we pray for children and young people who cannot rely on the love and support of a secure family home. Through the care they receive from others who look after them may they experience the nurture, stability and love they need to grow and flourish. Amen”

Autumn Craft Fair

Come and enjoy a relaxing evening with friends on Wednesday 2nd November, 2016 7-9pm at Bishopbriggs Community Church, 21 Park Avenue, Bishopbriggs. Local and Rwandan Crafts and Home Baking. Tickets £2.50 at the door (kids free) includes tea, coffee, mulled wine, mince pies and cake. All proceeds will go to build homes in Bisesero, Rwanda.

Sell off your unloved or unwanted board games, party games, card games and role playing games. A proportion of each sale goes to the Emma Cameron Foundation. Shoebox Appeal

This year the BB is filling shoeboxes as Christmas gifts for children in Africa and Eastern Europe and need your help! If you have any standard size adult shoeboxes, please can you leave them in the box in the foyer. There will also be a list of suggested items such as toothbrushes, soap, pencils, pens, sweets (BBE date after March 2017), hats, scarves, gloves etc if you wish to donate any of these that would be great! These can also be placed in the labelled box in the foyer. Thank you!

Walk and Talk
