Flower Ministry Calendar

August 31, 2016

We currently have spaces throughout the year on the Flower Ministry Calendar for arranging and delivering flowers each Sunday. Flowers are donated to the church primarily to beautify the church and to promote prayer. They are then given to the bereaved, sick, housebound or perhaps a thank you. If you feel you can give half an hour of your time after the service on a Sunday for delivering the flowers and approx. half an hour on a Friday or Saturday if arranging, please get in touch with Ann Nisbet Tel. 01360 620970 or office@tpc.org.uk

Flower Ministry

August 31, 2016

Several months ago, the Kirk Session decided to include Flower Ministry within the wider Pastoral Care Ministry. Following on from this, Katie Leitch has agreed to co-ordinate the distribution of church flowers, thus linking Anne Nisbet’s sterling organisation of donors, arrangers and deliverers with Pastoral Care.
If you know of anyone who you feel would benefit from receiving the church flowers, please contact Katie on 01360 620970 or office@tpc.org.uk
Our flower ministry is for those both inside and outside the church and is not just restricted to the sick or bereaved. Flowers can also be given as a welcome, an encouragement, a thank you or simply to say, “TPC was thinking about you today”.
