Holiday Club materials needed!

This year’s theme for the Holiday Club is Shipshapes and it would be great if you have anything relating to a seaside theme – large blue/yellow pieces of fabric, fishing nets, lobster pots, buoys, shells, buckets, spades, lifebelts etc. All items can be returned after the holiday club finishes on 13th August.

St Rollox Outreach Project

The Project is now closed for the summer. The church at St Rollox will be open on a Tuesday morning from 10 – 12pm if you wish to hand anything in. Irene will be returning on 16th August.

Trails and Tales, have your say Baldernock & Torrance!

Trails and Tales is a Heritage & Arts learning programme which has been engaging communities in East Dunbartonshire with artists to explore local history and heritage. Come along and hear about the findings from the Trails and Tales community activity programme. This is an opportunity for you to contribute to the local heritage stories your outdoor trails will tell and to decide where you would like your Heritage and Arts Trails to be. Refreshments provided. Summer Mission

As the Holiday Club week is from Monday 8 to Wednesday 10 August, 10 – 12pm, Thursday 11 August 6-8pm and Saturday 13 August 2-4pm there will be no other activities available at the church during these times.

The next edition of the Church Newsletter to cover the period from September through to November will be published towards the end of August. Due to the holiday period it would be great if folks could provide articles a bit earlier than usual. This is your Newsletter, so if you have any news which you would like to share with our church family, please send it in. Holiday Club Crafts!

‘Art Workshop’ and ‘Preparations’

The ‘Art workshop’ and ‘Preparations’ for the Summer Mission is between 7-9pm on Thursday 4th August. Even if you have not volunteered for the holiday club it would be very helpful if anyone could assist with the artwork which just requires a bit of painting and cutting out pieces of card. As 4th August is the only preparation night it would be great if as many folk as possible could attend. Thank you!
