Lost Property – Last chance!

There are adult and children’s jackets, hoodies, gloves, scarves, socks, bag, My Little Pony T-shirt (aged 13 years) hanging on the pegs in the hallway and if any of these items belong to you can you please take them home as they will go into the recycle box in the hall. Thank you.

Holiday Club Materials Needed!

This year’s theme for the Holiday Club is Shipshapes and it would be great if you have anything relating to a seaside theme – large blue/yellow pieces of fabric, fishing nets, lobster pots, buoys, shells, buckets, spades, lifebelts etc. All items can be returned after the holiday club finishes on 13th August. Thank you!

Crossover Volunteers

First Aid Course – Baby & Child First Aid -1 day course

In the near future, some of the Holiday Club team will be undertaking a First Aid Course and will receive a 3 year certificate on successful completion. There is space for 5 people on a team of 12 and the cost for each individual would be £55 for a 1 Day Course and a Trainer from St Andrew’s First Aid Training would come to the church. Wednesday Coffee Shop

The kitchen refurbishment is now complete and the Coffee Shop will be open as usual on Wednesdays.

2pm – (optional) walking West Highland Way from Milngavie to Dumgoyne
4.40pm – Tour of the Glengoyne Distillery
6.30pm – 2 course meal at the Beech Tree Inn with after-dinner speaker Rev. Graham Atkinson of Sandyhills Parish Church, who will be speaking on “Whisky and faith – reaching a mature spirit”
Cost is £30 per head, and places are limited. Please do invite friends from out with the church, they will be very welcome. To reserve a space, for more information or express an interest, please speak to Iain Nisbet.

The Wednesday Coffee Shop
