Origin Scotland – Symphonic Praise

Symphonic Praise in Glasgow Cathedral on Saturday 4 June, 2016 at 7:30pm. This event is a service of worship using some of the greatest hymns ever written by the likes of Charles Wesley, Stuart Townend, Horatius Bonar, Henry Francis Lyte and many more – some of the most beautiful Christian poetry, packed with theology and well known as hymns. Walk and Talk – June

The next walk will be on Saturday 11th June when we will be walking from Falkirk Stadium through Helix Park to the Kelpies where we will have tea or coffee before walking back through the park to the Stadium. As this is further away than our usual walks we will meet at Torrance Church at 9.00am. The walk is fairly short and flat. We aim to return to Torrance around mid day. New walkers are always welcome.

Messy Church at Campsie Show and Refugee Friendship Event

On 4th June, 2016 on behalf of TPC, the Messy Church (Rachael Maclellan and Jen Barge) is running Messy Church at the Campsie Show. Also that day, working with the refugee group at Finlay Memorial Church, Alistair Muir and Peter Nicolson are inviting the group to visit the Show, followed by a BBQ gathering that evening. If you wish to know more about these exciting opportunities, please do not hesitate to talk to the individuals involved or to Hing Leung for a general chat.

Praying for Africa

The World Mission Council of the Church of Scotland encourages us to pray for our partners all over the world. This month please join us as we pray for Africa. “God of all places and climes, we are glad to thank you for our friends and partners in faith and vision in all of Africa, for people with the strength of character to survive in difficult circumstances and to live out their faith in joy and thanksgiving for all your gifts. Prayer Clinic

The Prayer Clinic is available in the vestry from 10:30am until 12 noon on Wednesdays’ and Fridays’ (Fridays’ during term time) for anyone seeking prayer for themselves or others. You can also write out your prayer request and place it into the ‘Prayer Box’ which is situated in the foyer. All requests will be prayed for during the following week. All requests are strictly private and confidential.
