East Dunbartonshire Leisure and Culture (library) are offering to come and do a training session to help you get the most out of your tablet or iPad. It would probably be at a Wednesday morning cafe time, if there is sufficient interest. Please sign up on the sheet in the foyer if you would like to take part in this.

International Tabletop Day

Founded four years ago as a celebration of board games, card games and other (unplugged) tabletop gaming. Every spring, fans host thousands of events all over the world. For TableTop Day 2016, your nearest event is in Torrance Parish Church, on Saturday 30 April, from 2pm onwards. The Antonine Board Gamers will be hosting an afternoon of board games, card games and dice games from classic golden oldies to modern designer games. Come along and learn some new games and make some new friends, bring along your favourite(s) and enjoy yourself! Fun for all ages (children under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult). Games available include those covering the Old Testament (Genesis, Kings of Israel), New Testament (Commissioned, Journeys of Paul) and monastic era (Biblios, Mystery of the Abbey). The Friendship Lunch

Available in the vestry from 10:30am until 12 noon on Wednesdays’ and Fridays’ for anyone seeking prayer for themselves or others. You can also write out your prayer request and place it into the ‘Prayer Box’ which is situated in the foyer. All requests will be prayed for during the following week.
