FAITH IN THE WORKPLACE: Supporting Christian Discipleship in the World of Work
January 29, 2012
This series of classes, delivered in partnership with Mission Scotland, is an opportunity to explore both biblically and practically what it means to be a 21st century disciple in the workplace. It is aimed at those who support and encourage Christians in the workplace (such as ministers and others in church leadership) as well as those in work or who volunteer. Streams in the Desert: Drawing Fresh Water from Various Sources of Christian Spiritual Formation - As adult disciples many of us experience seasons of spiritual dryness in our Christian journey. This class will explore the challenges of finding living water in the desert times of life, drawing on resources from a variety of Christian traditions. Details can be found on the ICC website. Booking in advance for the classes is not necessary but it helps us in planning. Contact Sandra McSporran (sandra.mcsporran@icc.ac.uk) to register.

EMPTY INK CARTRIDGES
January 29, 2012
When your ink cartridge runs out, why not wrap it in cling film, bring it to church and put it in the container beside Sheila’s “Bawbee Bucket”. Most cartridges are recyclable and raise money for Bishkek. Regrettably, Toner Cartridges, Brother, Epson and Kodak ink cartridges are rejected. Thanks, Bob Burrell.
FLOWER MINISTRY
January 29, 2012
In April 2010 both Sheila Bett and Jean McBurnie were asked to carry forward the Flower Ministry. This seemed the right thing at that point in time for both of us, and saw it as a God given ministry. In time the present system was established. We have found our involvement has enabled us to meet people within and out with the church, and in this respect have found the experience encouraging and a blessing. However, we now believe it is time to hand this over to others who may be called to this ministry, so that we can be free to be involved in other ministries. Therefore, Sheila and Jean will resign from this role on 31st March 2012. Anyone interested in taking over please speak to or phone Sheila (622538) or Jean (620896).
