Glasgow Gospel Choir

Come along and enjoy an evening of spiritually uplifting Gospel music performed by the Glasgow Gospel Choir on Friday, 4th February at St. Mary’s Parish Church, Cowgate, Kirkintilloch.
Performance starts at 7.30pm. Tickets £5 and £3 concession. All the proceeds of the concert go directly to AYDAP (African Youth Development Action Plan). More information from Donald Goldie or John Hair.
Church Weekend Away – Date for your Diary

Advance notice -The Church weekend away will be at Lendrick Muir from Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd October 2011 (this is the last weekend of the October school holidays). Lendrick Muir is operated by Scripture Union Scotland in a beautiful location at Rumbling Bridge near Kinross. Price to be confirmed. Flower Ministry

Crossover – Visit to the Time Capsule

Saturday 5th February 2011. P7 – S3 youth event. Meet at the church at 6.30pm then travel to the Time Capsule in cars (some parent cars may be needed, depending on numbers) and back home for 9 / 9.30ish! £5 for swimming/travel etc. £1.20 for locker (£1 is returned) and you may want some extra pennies for snacks at the new cafe! Parental consent forms needed if you haven’t filled one out already.
Friendship Lunch

The Friendship Lunch will meet on Tuesday, 1st February at 1pm. As our Christmas Lunch had to be cancelled in December due to the bad weather, we are going to have it on that day, crackers and all. The children of Torrance Primary will be coming along to sing to us. We hope to see you all there.

Prayer Time

A reminder that the meeting room is set aside for prayer every Sunday from 9:15am – 10:00am. A special time of silence is spent waiting on God followed by a time of sharing and praying for one another as well as for our church. All are welcome.
