Empty Ink Cartridges

You probably know we collect these to raise money for Bishkek but the recycle firm we use only takes specific cartridges. Macmillan Nurses also collect empty cartridges so if you want to recycle BROTHER or TONER cartridges for that charity put them in the container beside the “baw bee bucket”. PLEASE WRAP CARTRIDGES IN CLING FILM and NOT FOIL. Thanks, Bob Burrell.
Boys’ Brigade

The Junior section and Company section of the Boys’ Brigade urgently need 2 more leaders, male or female. We have enrolled 48 boys and we find it almost impossible to run with the existing staff levels. If you can help, please speak to Bert Cooke or any B.B. leader.
Friendship Lunch

The next Friendship Lunch will take place on Tuesday, 7th December. Please note that, as this is our Christmas lunch, we will start at the earlier time of 12.15pm. As usual, we will have the choir from Torrance Primary School and some of the children from Campsie View coming along to entertain us. This is always a popular event and we hope you can all join us for our last lunch of 2010. There will be no lunch in January but we look forward to seeing you all again in February 2011.
Christmas Cards

Once again this year, one of the Youth Organisations is making a large Christmas card for display in the foyer. Look out for it from the beginning of December. lf you like, instead of giving your friends in the Church individual cards this Christmas, why not put a message on the card and make a donation in the box provided. This way you will, not only be ECO friendly, but helping a worthwhile cause. All donations will be sent to the Old Folk’s Home in Bishkek.
Prayer Clinic

A ‘Prayer Clinic’ is now available on a Friday morning in the Vestry from 10:45am to 12:15pm. Please come along if you wish prayer for yourself or for others. There is also a prayer box in the café area should you prefer to write your request and we will commit to praying on your behalf for the next week. All prayers and requests are totally confidential.
